Job Description
This is a remote position.
As a Math tutor, your job duties and expectations include:
- flexible scheduling for work hours,
- preparing for classes and lessons,
- delivering effective instruction to students,
- assigning and reviewing homework assignments,
- monitoring and evaluating student progress and growth,
- and continuously working to improve and enhance student outcomes over time.
These responsibilities require dedication, commitment, and a passion for teaching and helping students achieve their full potential.
Requirements

- a major or degree in a Math or STEM related field,
- have a passion for educating children in mathematics,
- find math both stimulating and enjoyable,
- have prior tutoring experience, ideally in a group setting,
- able to effectively communicate in English with young students,
- willing to learn the Singapore math methodology,
- familiarity with Zoom teaching tools such as virtual whiteboards, screen sharing, chat features, etc.
- and it would be a plus if you have a background in math competitions.
This position requires a strong foundation in mathematics and a commitment to helping students achieve their full potential.
