The Agency, a prominent executive recruitment firm, is seeking an experienced and influential Associate Attorney to join our esteemed client, specializing in real estate law. As an Associate Real Estate Attorney, you will have the opportunity to engage in land-use issues for multi-million dollar properties.
Who You Are:
Youre a seasoned litigator, comfortable managing large and impactful cases for important clients. You enjoy the challenge of picking up a case file, learning it quickly, and preparing for administrative hearings before city and county government entities.
Youre looking for a role where you can take the ball and run with it, immediately taking responsibility and ownership for outcomes with far-reaching impacts.
You are a resource to your peers, someone they come to with questions that need attention, advice, or general mentorship.
What Youll Do:
As an Associate Attorney, youll immediately impact the efficiency and effectiveness of the firm. Youll do this by...
- Bringing your California trial and litigation experience to existing and new cases
- Leveraging excellence in discovery and deposition to influence positive outcomes for clients
- Completing a variety of transactional work, including drafting purchase and sale agreements
- Navigating a variety of intricate and nuanced real property scenarios, including...
- Zoning and conditional use permits
- Title issues
- Constitutional law, including takings claims
- Ground lease litigation
- Trespass/encroachment/nuisance cases
- Eminent domain
- ADA (Americans with Disability) claims

Our client provides high quality training and mentoring with some of the best real estate legal professionals in California.
Requirements
- Juris Doctor and admitted to the California Bar
- 5 to 15 years of trial experience in real estate law, land use preferred
- People leadership experience preferred
