The Technical Service Rep will provide customer service support, track and resolve critical issues that arise with the product.

Job duties include, but not limited to:

  • Dealer trainings (install, calibrate and test systems)
  • Provide technical and direction for on-board scale products
  • Devises technical solutions to solve problems
  • Applies high level of technical knowledge on application development technologies with sales, customers and dealers; takes existing products and works them into new applications
  • Collaborates with sales team, dealers and other colleagues to evaluate, design and otherwise provide technical solutions that contribute to the delivery of cost effective business solutions
  • Act as an internal technical mentor and consultant
  • Develops strong relationships with customers; frequent customer presentations
  • Analyzes and interprets data independently; anticipates potential problems and takes preventative action; participates in the project planning and scheduling process
  • Tests and evaluates prototypes and products to determine design limits and needed improvements
  • Prepares technical data and papers for sales personnel and customers

The estimated salary range allows for candidates with various levels of skills and experience to be considered, as well as provides room for growth achieved within the role over time. Any offer extended to a candidate or salary increase consideration for a current employee will be based on the individual s unique set of knowledge, skills, education, experience and geographic location, as well as internal equity.

Requirements :

  • Associates degree or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years experience in truck/heavy equipment manufacturing or related field; 1+ year experience in customer service, field service or customer training

Experience:

Be able to work on trucks (under trucks for specifications/support)

Technical experience or knowledge of truck upfitting preferred
