Provide a thorough intake assessment for individuals and families seeking outpatient therapy

Develop treatment plan that accounts for strengths, barriers and needs

Document a clear problem statement, treatment goals and objectives in collaboration with the individual and/or family

Completes required documentation and authorization of services

Assigns individual/family to appropriate therapist or psychiatrist.

An outpatient mental health clinic is looking for a Full-time mental health professional to conduct thorough intake assessments for new referrals to their Lancaster program.

Our Ideal Mental Health Intake Therapist

Master s Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or other Human Services related field

Licensure required (LSW, LCSW, LPC, LMFT)

Experience providing intake assessments and/or outpatient therapy

Working knowledge of the DSM 5 and ability formulate diagnosis and write treatment plans

Excellent writing skills

Detailed, organized and timely with paperwork
