Are you a Certified Radiation Therapist seeking an exciting career opportunity? The Lagneta Group is currently looking for a highly qualified and experienced Radiation Therapist to join our esteemed client's team in Houston, TX. As a Radiation Therapist, you will play a pivotal role in the healthcare industry, contributing to the well-being of patients by performing dosimetric calculations, delivering radiation therapy treatments, and ensuring the highest standard of patient care management.

What You Will Do:
- Simulating treatment set-ups according to physician instruction.
- Performing dosimetric calculations under the supervision of a physicist or dosimetrist, using either manual or computerized dose calculations.
- Accurately delivering the prescribed course of radiation therapy.
- Assisting in Brachytherapy procedures.
- Ensuring the proper functioning of treatment machines/simulator and reporting any operational issues to the physicist.
- Verifying dose through barometer and thermometer measurements and reporting any discrepancies to the physicist.
- Checking laser positioning for proper alignment.
- Ensuring the safety of patients, staff, and visitors by adhering to all relevant policies, procedures, and standards.
- Promoting individual professional growth and development through mandatory/continuing education and skills competency.
- Supporting department-based goals contributing to the organization's success.
- Acting as a preceptor, mentor, and resource to less experienced staff.
- Demonstrating commitment to caring for every member of our community by providing compassionate and personalized experiences to patients and colleagues.
- Other duties as assigned.
What You Will Have:
- Graduate of an accredited school of Radiation Therapy Technology.
- Certified Radiation Therapist by the American Registry of Radiation Therapy Technologists (ARRT-T), and licensed by the Texas Department of Health (CMRT).
- One year of experience as a radiation therapist
