Sr AWS DevOps Engineer

Title: Sr. AWS DevOps Engineer
Location: Indianapolis, IN

Duration: Long Term Contract

Qualifications:
7+ years of experience in DevOps or development as an engineer
2-3 years of experience in creating RESTful web/AWS APIs using Node.js, Python, C#, and/or Java Knowledge of web development technologies and tools (HTML5, CSS3, CSS frameworks,
Experience with service-oriented architectures, XML, SOAP, REST, JSON
Core understanding of AWS services with the ability to debug/troubleshoot issues including IAM, ECR, Code Pipeline, Route53.
Exposure with containerization tools such as AWS EKS, ECS, Fargate, Docker, Kubernetes, would be a plus
Experience in developing solutions using PaaS with cloud platforms such as AWS, Heroku, or similar
Strong experience with IaC AWS CDK
Strong experience working with JavaScript/Typescript and Python.
Knowledge of web frameworks like Angular, Vue, or React is a plus.
Responsive Web Design, JavaScript frameworks, etc.)
Proven experience writing high quality object-oriented code
Proficient at serverless technologies such as AWS Lambda, GCP Cloud Functions, or Azure Functions
Knowledge of Test-Driven Development, Unit Testing, and Clean Code
Proficient with relational database systems such as PostgreSQL RDS, SQL Server, Oracle, etc.
In-depth understanding of CI/CD DevOps processes & tooling including CloudFormation, AWS Code Pipeline, Git Actions, Maven/Gradle, Jenkins
Agile/Scrum team experience is must.
