We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Supply Chain Lead to oversee and optimize our Austin production site's end-to-end supply chain operations. The ideal candidate should possess experience in supply chain management methodologies. As a Supply Chain Lead, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring seamless coordination, enhancing operational performance, and fostering strategic relationships with suppliers, stakeholders, and customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the end-to-end supply chain mainly focused on Buy/Sell operations.
  • Demand Forecasting and Planning: Collaborate closely with HQ supply chain groups and production teams to accurately forecast demand and establish inventory plans.
  • Supplier Management: Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, negotiating favorable terms, pricing, and agreements. Monitor supplier performance, conduct regular evaluations, and initiate corrective actions when necessary.
  • Inventory Management: Oversee inventory levels across multiple locations, implementing strategies to achieve optimal inventory turnover while ensuring product availability.
  • Procurement: Manage the procurement of materials and components to support efficient production operation, Negotiate favorable terms with suppliers, and Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers, ensuring a reliable supply of materials.
  • Logistics and Distribution: Coordinate transportation and distribution processes, ensuring timely and cost-effective movement of goods. Evaluate and select appropriate logistics partners, optimizing shipping routes and minimizing costs.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Foster collaboration with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers to align supply chain strategies with overall business goals and ensure a seamless flow of information.

Requirements :

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Expert in electronics supply chain management with 5+ years of experience - must
  • Bachelor s degree in industrial engineering / Supply Chain Management, Business Administration advantage
  • Proven experience working as a Material Planner with a proven track record of success.
  • Strong knowledge of supply chain principles, demand forecasting techniques, inventory management strategies, and logistics operations.
  • Proficiency in using supply chain management software and tools; experience with ERP, Oracle, and analytics platforms - advantage
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders.
