Our client, one of the leading global NVOCC freight forwarding companies provides customers with import and export services, as well as, door-to-door services for both international and domestic clients, is seeking aSr. Sales Executive to bea part of Company's growth by building a strong pipeline of new opportunities and maintaining a customer base.
The ideal candidate should have:
- 5+ years of freight forwarding business development/outside sales experience.
- Specialization in the Transpacific, South or West Asia market.
- Possesses a book of business in international ocean, air and/or customs brokerage.
- Demonstrated hunter mentality to continuously bring in new business opportunities.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Offer entire supply chain solution through Company's ocean, air, warehousing & distribution, LTL & FTL transportation, cargo insurance and customs brokerage services.
- Consult clients on the complexities of their supply chain using your expertise shipping various commodities to different geographic markets.
- Recognize and understand freight forwarding business opportunities through professional networking and market research.
- Partner with internal subject matter experts to become well educated in all OEC products and services.
- Utilize Sugar (CRM) to track client's key information, build and maintain sales pipeline, and measure KPIs.
- Work closely with the sales support team by reviewing quotes to ensure the client's needs are met
- Travel to meet clients in person within assigned territory.
- Maintain consistent communication with other departments and overseas offices.
- Monitor international freight forwarding market trends and conditions.
Hours:Monday - Friday: 9:00 am-6:00 pm EST (Hybrid)
