Job Description

If you are an experienced bookkeeper and billing manager with a strong track record of success, we encourage you to apply for this exciting remote opportunity at our growing, family-friendly organization.

Purpose of Role:

The Bookkeeper & Billing Manager will oversee the financial records, billing, and invoicing for business, ensuring accurate and prompt processing and payment.

Objectives:
  • Maintain monthly cash and accrual P&L reports for business, with multiple revenue and expense streams.

  • Reconcile accounts with ledgers.

  • Manage invoicing, accounts receivable, and collections, as needed.

  • Run bi-monthly payroll and vendor payments.

  • Track and calculate sales and sales team commissions.

  • Process refunds and troubleshoot payment issues.

  • Ensure billings and receivables are correctly processed on time.

  • Follow up any overdue accounts with clients and customers.

  • Provide accurate reports and analysis on financial data and metrics such as revenue forecasting, sales statistic information, and monthly net sales reports.

  • Assist Sales Ops and the CEO with analysis of data and reports.



Requirements

Core Competencies:

  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to accuracy and detail.

  • Self-starter comfortable with a remote work environment, and able to communicate and collaborate effectively by email.

  • Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.

  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.

  • Thorough understanding of policies and procedures used in accounts receivable and billing.

  • Proficiency with Google Workspace, Quickbooks/Zoho and Smartsheets preferred.


Education and Experience:

  • Associate s degree in Business or equivalent required; Bachelor s degree in related field preferred.

  • At least three years of related experience.


Operational Requirements:

  • Approximately 15 hours a week. Work from home.

  • Home office with computer, phone and high speed internet access
