Hours: Monday-Friday 8AM-5PM (On Call)

Job Description:

Observe, monitor, and analyze existing operating and or HSE procedures to determine compliance to standards and inform different departments of relevant regulatory and company HSE related performance requirements. Administers the development and presentation of safety and environmental training programs and conducts associated training in accordance with OSHA, EPA, and company HSE requirements. Responsible for the establishment and maintenance of HSE related training records. Supervises the administration of accident reporting and investigation, accident prevention programs, preparation of reports and record keeping. Conducts studies and analysis of accidents, inter-company reporting assignment related recordkeeping. Expedite removal and correction of safety hazards to comply with OSHA standards and city safety policies. Develop and coordinate hazardous materials handling, disposal, waste minimization and recycling.

Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in safety or environmental management experience. Previous Manufacturing Safety Management. Strong communication skills, excel, word. Ability to partner with management/employees to accomplish responsibilities. Above average written and verbal skills. Principles of accident prevention, loss control, industrial hygiene, auditing and HSE management practices. Experience in the development of written HSE program & policies.
