The successful candidate will perform a variety of Civil and Water Resource planning and design tasks for projects including the following:
- Design projects of varying disciplines (levee design, WTPs, pump stations, pipelines, storage tanks etc.)
- Hydraulic modeling for potable water systems and flooding analyses
- Prepare figures, maps, and other graphics using AutoCAD and GIS software
- Prepare technical reports and memoranda
- Communicate well with other staff engineers, project managers, and principal engineers
DESIRED EXPERIENCE
- Potable Water system design (WTPs, pipelines, pump stations, storage tanks)
- Wastewater/Storm Drain system design (Pipelines and lift stations)
- Water/Wastewater System planning (Master Plans, hydraulic modeling)
- Flood Control System Design (levee design, ULDC compliance)
QUALIFICATIONS
- BS degree in Civil Engineering
- 3+ years of experience in civil engineering field
- PE Registration in California, or ability to obtain CA registration within 1 yr, if relocating from another state with a PE
- Experience with GIS, AutoCAD, and Civil3D
