Job Description
Finance Manager
A multinational apparel and fashion supplier is seeking a talented and experienced Finance Manager to join their business in London. The role is to oversee the Finance and Accounts functions for their UK operations. The role reports to the MD.
Finance Manager: The Role:
- Day-to-day bookkeeping, owning accounts receivable, accounts payable and treasury function
- The business uses SAP, so data entry and analysis will be on the system.
- Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting on a monthly and annual basis
- Monitor and control monthly business performance against budget and forecast
- Assist the MD with managing supplier contracts (e.g. rent, utilities), equipment leasing/purchasing and negotiation with suppliers
- Manage VAT returns/compliance
Requirements
Finance Manager: The Person:
- You will be managing accounts, banking and commercial aspects, ideally within the apparel and fashion industry.
- Working knowledge of SAP would be advantageous along with intermediate excel skills
- Fluent in English both oral and written communication
- Able to operate in a busy workplace
- Able to multi-task, prioritise and meet strict deadlines whilst having excellent attention to detail
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Be self-motivated
