Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure effective patient care and assist in prioritizing critical situations.
Responsibilities:
Provide urgent care in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment similar to an emergency department.
Serve patients of all ages with a wide range of medical conditions.
Prioritize cases using critical thinking and clinical judgment.
Collaborate with providers and team members to ensure excellent patient care.
Utilize the nursing process to assess and diagnose patient care needs.
Develop individualized care plans and assist patients and families in setting health goals.
Perform nursing interventions safely and effectively.
Provide patient education and counseling in line with care plans.
Apply preventive measures and health promotion strategies in patient care.
Maintain accurate documentation and comply with safety and infection control standards.
Pursue continuous education and actively participate in quality assurance.
Adhere to professional standards and personnel policies.
Associates degree in Nursing from an accredited program.
Registered Nurse License (Washington) required.
Basic Life Support and Advanced Cardiac Life Support required at hire.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification within 6 months of hire.
Strong communication, problem-solving, leadership, and decision-making skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience in ambulatory care, emergency department, or primary nursing.
Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN).
Pediatric Advanced Life Support certification at hire.
