You will be updated with latest job alerts via emailOffer a comprehensive range of ambulatory behavioral health services, including assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, psychotherapeutic intervention, and case management for individuals, families, groups, and Intensive Outpatient Programs.
Responsibilities:
Evaluate psychological and mental status of patients, employing the latest DSM for diagnosis.
Provide psychotherapy and counseling using evidence-based interventions.
Address crisis situations, making timely interventions and referrals.
Lead therapeutic and educational groups to cater to patient needs.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and consult on complex cases.
Maintain clinical expertise, utilizing best practices and evidence-based modalities.
Document clinical assessments, treatment plans, and interventions.
Participate in clinical team meetings, planning, and quality management.
Provide psychological testing and specialized treatment programs.
Assess patients in Emergency Departments during after-hours as needed.
Qualifications:
Doctoral degree in Psychology from an APA-approved program in clinical psychology or accredited institution.
Psychologist License (Hawaii) and National Provider Identifier.
Experience in evidence-based treatment, individual/group therapy, and treatment planning.
Proficiency in DSM for assessments and diagnostic evaluations.
Familiarity with psychiatric medications and statistical/analytical methods.
Strong skills in communication, conflict resolution, problem-solving, teamwork, and adaptability.
Preferred Qualifications:
Documentation expertise according to national accreditation guidelines.
Behavioral health service experience in a primary care setting.
Knowledge of addiction treatment.
Consultation/liaison services experience in emergency departments.
