Under the general supervision of the Maintenance Mechanic III will assure the facility and the equipment meets or exceeds established operation guidelines. Responsible for maintaining all production, packaging, and related equipment on his/her shift and implementing the preventative maintenance (PM) program for equipment, ability to diagnose, and troubleshoot problems. The MM3 must have the ability to identify operating inefficiencies, diagnose operation problems, and make adjustments to ensure optimum operational efficiencies and safety.
Funcion Specific Activities:
Responsible for ensuring and maintaining a safe environment through compliance with all company, local state, and federal mandates or programs.
Create a continuous improvement environment by improving products, services, and processes with the objective to reduce waste within the bakery while striving for efficiency and profitability.
Capable of repairing, and troubleshooting most bakery equipment and systems.
Utilizes Lock-out/Tag-Out, confined space, and hazardous material handling procedures
Provides direct support to production, sanitation, and quality systems related to ensuring company policies and procedures along with ensuring full compliance with BRC and our company audit compliance criteria.
Responsible for completing technical work assignments with direction and supervision.
Capable of performing preventive, and proactive maintenance with nominal technical assistance.
Recommends solutions to the maintenance supervisor or the peer mechanics to improve equipment performance
2nd sift 6pm-6am with overtime
Hours are 6:00AM to 6:00PM / 6:00PM to 6:00AM, with four shifts during the week. We need two talents on each shift (8 techs). The workday schedules are 4 ON – 3 OFF, weekly.
Four shifts in those 12-hour cycle spanning a two-week period:
Week 1 = ON, Monday, Friday, Saturday.
OFF, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
Week 2 = ON, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday.
OFF, Monday, Friday, and Saturday.
