Responsibilities and Duties

• Manage the client relationship from project kickoff through closeout
• Manage project cash flow including client, subcontractor, and vendor invoicing
• Develop and manage project scope, schedule and budget
• Oversee design, permitting and procurement
• Collaborate with the Sales and Estimating teams to negotiate and finalize subcontracts with partners Daily management and coordination with Operations Manager and Construction Managers to ensure adequate internal or subcontracted resources for all projects
• Daily management of internal and external site resources
• Track and manage project potential cost impacts and change orders
• Monitor progress of construction schedule and coordinate appropriate course corrections with Construction Managers as necessary
• Active management of all subcontracts
• Prepare final project documentation
• Ensure successful QA/QC and commissioning process
• Engage in project handoff/closeout with client
• Prepare and coordinate Lessons Learned meetings that include relevant internal staff

Skills And Qualifications

• Undergraduate Degree in engineering, project management, construction management or relevant work equivalent
• Minimum of two (2) years of direct relevant solar work experience
• Proven track record of managing commercial solar PV projects
• Excellent problem-solving skills
• Excellent organizational skills
• Extensive knowledge of solar project interconnection, permitting, contracting
• Extensive knowledge of renewable energy technologies
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Self-starter and self-reliant. Capable of operating effectively with minimum supervision
• Willingness and ability to travel (10 25%) as needed to project sites
• General construction experience, i.e., ability to read and understand contract drawings and field layouts Success Factors

You don t need to have these, but you ll be even more prepared for the job if you have:

• PMP Certification
• NABCEP Certification
• Commercial construction experience
