Project Manager for Sewer, Water, and Storm Drains

Summary

The company is looking for a highly experienced project manager who has a strong background in sewer, water, and storm drain projects. Ideally, the candidate should be organized, have excellent record-keeping skills, and be able to work on multiple tasks at the same time.

Requirements

• Experience in sewer, water, and storm drain projects with at least ten (10) years of project management experience.
• Skills in organization, record-keeping, collaboration, and follow-up.
• Understanding complex project deliverables via job site visits and the ability to read and understand Civil Plans.
• Understanding of Greenbook and Caltrans specifications and requirements.
• Ability to develop scopes of work, including suggested equipment, identified value-added engineering options, material requirements, labour needed, and timelines.
• Demonstrates tact, maturity, professionalism, and exceptional interpersonal skills.
• Experienced in PVC/SDR35, VCP, C-900, HDPE SD, RCP SD, and Iron Water Materials and Fittings.
• Understanding of written procedures, writing routine documents, speaking clearly, and understanding multi-step written and oral instructions in English.
• Ability to manage resources based on knowledge of prevailing wage projects and/or phases
• Demonstrates an understanding of open-cut construction, basic shoring methods, job site requirements, and street work, including traffic control
• A valid driver's license and a good driving record are required. Ability to pass a background check and pre-employment drug screening.

• Planning, facilitating, and completing multiple sewer, water, and storm drain projects in collaboration with other business partners

• Communicates and coordinates project details with the client on behalf of the company
• Responsible for budgets, schedules, and quality of project deliverables
• Review of project deliverables, including drawings, calculations, and permit applications

• Plan and direct project meetings, technical reviews, and progress updates, both with the client and internally
