Our client, Wadja Wadja High School, is a 7-12 secondary school serving the Indigenous community of Woorabinda, approximately 179kms southwest of The student population of Wadja Wadja is 100% Indigenous and seeks the services of Teachers for an immediate start who can teach the core subjects of;
- English including MyOn
- Mathematics including MathPathways
- Science
- HASS
- VET subjects including
- AVI30419 Cert III in Aviation (Remote Pilot)
- FSK20119 Cert II in Skills for Work and Vocational Pathways (FSK)
- CHC24015 Cert II in Active Volunteering
- SIT20421 Cert II in Cookery
These roles are full time, permanent for 1year with an additional 1year, these positions will be commencing in Term 1, 2023 with NES probationary periods
Requirements
To be successful in this role you will have to meet the following;
- Appropriate Tertiary qualification with registration or eligibility for registration with QCT
- To be able to work as a member of a committed culturally diverse team of professionals, dedicated to providing quality teaching and learning in partnership with the Aboriginal
- To have an understanding of cultural pedagogy and the ability to and provide for, a diverse range of
- To have the ability to collaborate and work positively as part of a professional learning
- To have willingness to change and develop instructional strategies to increase student growth and
- Experience and / or an interest in teaching Indigenous students would be highly

A generous above industry standard remuneration package is provided with a base salary in the range of $ -198 K depending on your teaching
