Job Summary:

The Executive Vice President (EVP), North America (NA) will drive the organization's commercial success in a specified territory within the Life Science industry by achieving outstanding toplines This role will support the development and implementation of the commercial strategy based on deep market expertise, company Key Account approach and key commercial partnerships (SAS and future). The regional sales workforce in North America reports to the Deputy Managing Director (DMD) as does the EVP, however, the EVP, NA is responsible for the team and revenues expected from the designated accounts which fall under the EVP s

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Establishment of sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for the designated accounts
  • Projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products
  • Consulting and supporting the execution of sales programs by developing field sales action plans (key account plans with the Key Account Executive)
  • Maintaining sales volume, product and service mix, and selling price by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors
  • Completing business unit strategic commercial and sales operational requirements by scheduling tasks inside BC Platform working with the DMD and VP of global sales operations
  • Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; and participating in professional societies
  • Contributing to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed and acting as a role model focusing on selected strategic cases and strategic key

Critical Success Factors:

  • Develop and execute a strategic plan to achieve sales targets and expand our customer base
  • Effectively communicate the value proposition through proposals and presentations
  • Sales leadership
  • Industry expertise in Life Science, as well as HealthCare, is an advantage
  • Business modeling in Data Science industry ( RWE / RWD)
  • Build and maintain strong, long-lasting customer relationships, ability to understand their needs and become the trusted advisor

Education and Experience:

Professional experience and track record:

  • Executive leadership experience in Life Science
  • Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Existing network and access within the Life Sciences industry
  • Proven sales executive experience, meeting or exceeding targets
  • Proven ability to drive the growth and sales process from plan to close
  • Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of products and services
  • Proven ability to position products against competitors
  • Excellent listening, negotiation and presentation skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills
  • Entrepreneurial mindset & growth capability and capacity to develop a SBU -leader with P&L

Education and language:

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
  • Fluent in English
