Responsibilities for School Psychologist

• Screen students for potential psychological issues and make recommendations for treatment plans based on this screening
  
• Network with teachers and families to create Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) that help ensure success for kids who have disabilities
  
• Collaborate with the special education team to design and implement intervention strategies and programs
  
• Administer therapy to children with developmental, learning, or behavioural delays
  
• Work with at-risk youth who need educational intervention to help them achieve success
  
• Analyze and treat school children using psychoanalytic and cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) techniques
  
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding student health and academic records
  

Requirements

Requirements

Master s Degree Educational Psychology or related

Must hold a school psychology license in the state of

Must hold or be eligible to apply for an Illinois PEL certification with school support personnel

This is an on-site job opening, candidates must be willing to work onsite for the duration of the assignment
