Role overview

We are looking for a full-time Account Executive to support our agency client services team across a variety of disciplines including PR, social media and Reporting to the VP Client Services & Strategy you will effectively manage and execute client programs and provide strategic counsel to

As an Account Executive at Publitek, your main responsibilities will include:

    PR

    • Effectively execute and participate in strategic PR programs

    • Identify new targeted journalists to curate client-specific media lists, develop and maintain those media lists

    • Write pitches, come up with pitch angles

    • Conduct proactive media pitching and placement for announcements, launches, and active storytelling

    • Understand the media landscape and actively monitor for new opportunities

    • Establish and nurture relationships with industry influencers and media

    • Secure and manage briefings and schedules, and serve as clients' PR representative during briefings

    • Create briefing backgrounder books

    • Practice writing/editing of PR materials when needed

    Social Media

    • Write social media copy for social programs, for both brands and technology executives primarily Twitter and LinkedIn, but also including Facebook, Instagram, and other platforms

    • Manage scheduling and posting, and engagement on the platforms directly

    • Provide live event support for trade shows when needed

    • Manage analytics tracking across channels

    • Set quarterly metric goals based on client business objectives and anecdotal program performance

    • Participate in client conversations on strategy and recommendations

    Account Management

    • Participate in program status/strategy calls with clients regularly; take clear notes and provide team with list of actions from the calls

    • Counsel clients on program performance, proactive go-forward optimization recommendations and real-time problem-solving strategies

    • Oversee and review monthly/quarterly results reporting for all assigned accounts; provide analytical insight based on data

    • Ensure all work and communications is organized, detail oriented, clear and concise

You'll bring:

    • At least 2 years of experience in PR/Social Media/Advertising

    • Bachelor's degree or equivalent relevant business experience

    • Experience within agency environments and B2B technology clients

    • Experience in strategic PR and organic social media strategy (paid social media)

    • Some experience of managing advertising, direct marketing and collateral, or a genuine desire and commitment to learn them

    • A passion for technology marketing, share our commitment to personal and team accountability and ethical behavior
