Position Overview

Reporting to the Director of Programs, the Virtual Programs Coordinator will lead Pride at Work Canada s bilingual webinar They will also support the wider Programs Team by managing all administrative aspects of Pride at Work Canada s programs, which includes tracking and following-up on program progress and deliverables and collaborating with various program stakeholders assisting them in achieving the day-to-day program and reporting ;

Responsibilities

VIRTUAL PROGRAMS

  • Coordinate and host a bilingual webinar program that provides education on gender expression, gender identity, and sexual orientation inclusion in the
  • Source speakers for the webinar program from Proud Partners, Community Partners, and Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion
  • Support virtual panels, networking events and live streamed
  • Secure captioning, live translation, and uphold virtual accessibility best
  • Present virtual presentations and
  • Evaluate the effectiveness of the virtual

PROGRAMS ADMINISTRATION

  • Manage the internal administrative work flows for the team including collection of client information, management and execution of contracts related to events and programs, and coordinating with venues, vendors and
  • Handle administrative and technical aspects of events, webinars and presentations related to accessibility, support and setting up events, venue and vendor ;
  • Support the coordination of program activities, information, and sign-offs; that will include preparing ad-hoc program related reports, expense tracking, and conducting ;
  • Perform administrative tasks as required by the Director of Programs, including managing schedules, maintaining calendars, and responding to client ;


Requirements

Required Skills and Experience

  • A degree or diploma in inclusion and diversity, sexuality studies, gender studies, community development, business administration, project management and/or professional experience equivalent to formal
  • Demonstrated experience with project or program
  • Previous experience providing support in an administrative capacity ideally in a professional office
  • Strong analytical and organizational
  • Good relationship management skills, ability to work independently and
  • Strong presentation and public speaking skills
  • You have experience and are comfortable with technology and learning new platforms such as Zoom, Microsoft Office, Google Workspace, and ClickUp project management
  • Demonstrated strong interpersonal, verbal and written communication
  • Ability to work with limited supervision and within a team to meet program delivery and project

Desirable Assets

  • Demonstrated fluency in French strongly
  • Demonstrated fluency in languages outside of English or French, including
  • Experience working in the nonprofit and/or charitable
  • Experience working with 2SLGBTQIA+ communities, especially Two-Spirit, queer, and trans BIPOC
  • Experience with anti-racism, decolonization, intersectionality, and/or
  • A strong understanding of inclusion, diversity, equity and
