As Head of IT, you will be responsible for the leadership and organization of all aspects of IT and security operations of a regulated cannabis start-up and will help the company scale to a larger company You will assist with the application process by providing articulateITstrategy andITsystems Using your Information security technology operations and requirements gathering experience/analytical skills, youll oversee all systems including but not limited to systems for tracking source plant material from seed to sale, the inventory tracking, electronic vehicle tracking, vehicle security and employee security You will get the opportunity to help select and source initialITvendors/solutions including network, computers, communications, seed-to-sale tracking solutions, POS, CRM, call center, delivery routing management, You will bring with you your ability to optimize business processes and provide best-in-class compliance, HIPAA, security, and

Your background should be a Bachelors degree or higher in Information Technology, Management Information Systems, or relevant degree AND at least 5+ years of experience as an IT Leader with at least 1+ of these years spent in the Cannabis, Healthcare, Food & Beverage, or Pharmaceutical industry as an IT You have experience building an IT infrastructure for a high growth, fast paced start-up You have strong communication and analytical skills, enabling you to explain (and you enjoy explaining) complex technical information to non-technical It is preferred, that you have experience with security requirements and are knowledgeable about the security requirements pertaining to You also have several years of experience selecting IT
