Position Summary
Exciting new opportunity for an ESG leader, who is well connected,to build and expand the ESG Division of the consulting firm.
The Director of ESG Sales is responsible for developing and managing the sales and business development activities for Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) services. This individual will work closely with the consulting and sales teams to identify new ESG business opportunities, develop and deliver high-quality ESG services to clients, and help drive the development and industrial presence of PROtect’s ESG service offerings.
Essential Responsibilities
Develop and manage annual, quarterly, and monthly sales quotas.
Build target client lists and set performance standards for activities and outcomes.
Provide ongoing training and improvement.
Track sales performance.
Develop annual ESG division growth targets and implement the plan to achieve the results.
Develop and manage annual budget and business plan.
Learn and master the company’s defined sales processes and systems.
Embrace the company’s sales culture and ongoing sales mindset and skillset improvement program.
Master theservice lines, as well the associated problems and challenges we solve for our clients.
Basic Requirements
Education/Certification:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, engineering, science, or technical degree preferred
Required Knowledge & Experience:
10+ years of professional level ESG/Sustainability experience
Demonstrated ESG related Sales, Consulting, or Networking experience
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
Strong understanding of EPA and state specific environmental regulations
Knowledge of hospitality, university, government, and general manufacturing industries
A passion for sustainability and a commitment to driving positive social and environmental impact through business practices.
Success in developing new business opportunities of team members.
Experienced at solution selling, preferably complex products, or services.
Technical expertise to understand and explore client’s critical areas of need, their problems, and their goals related to all products and services.
Can articulatecore value propositions in each service sector and the differentiators from all competitors.
Has command of and can discuss current and previousclient outcomes.
High level of sales acumen and an impressive sales skillset stack.
Proven record of business development and over achievement on attaining sales objectives.
