Job Description

SimScale is a rapidly growing SaaS company disrupting the $6 billion Computer-Aided Engineering industry by bringing engineering simulation to the cloud. We are expanding our tight-knit sales team in the United States and are looking for an energetic, committed and customer-centric Sales Development Representative (m/f/d). You ll contribute to the company s growth by identifying and creating new qualified sales opportunities for account executives and initiating the relationship between SimScale and prospective customers. You will do this primarily through outbound prospecting methods.You will gain experience interacting with clients of all levels, in a variety of industries and sectors. Your Opportunity

  • Book outbound meetings through cold calls, emails, social outreach, networking, and independent research
  • Engage with prospects (including C-suite/Directors) and effectively pitch SimScale
  • Conduct sales discovery with prospects to find out their pain points and business needs
  • Generate and manage sales pipeline by updating all activity in CRM
  • Maintain active engagement with new and existing leads through diligent follow-ups communications designed to increase customer interest
  • Partner with Account Executives to help fill their pipeline and develop your skills
  • Develop industry/product knowledge and acumen to position SimScale s value proposition to multiple industry segments
  • Collaborate with Account Management, Sales Operations, Marketing teams around best practices to improve our sales process and accelerate growth

What we expect from you

  • A dynamic hunter personality with a drive to reach decision makers
  • 2+ years experience in inside sales, SDR, BDR, MDR or similar
  • Effective communication and listening skills
  • Ability to lead and deliver exciting and engaging conversations
  • Knowhow to lead a phone conversation, drive curiosity and demand for more information
  • Skilled in managing time and resources; sound approach to qualifying MQLs; ability to manage large number of leads per day
  • Experience in software sales, SaaS or subscription sales is a plus
