Job Description

Your tasks

As a Business Development Representative (m/w/d) at Bots & People you will be:

  • Cold-calling potential customers (yes, cold calls, if you hate that, don't apply for this role) to identify their needs and assess whether our solution could be a fit
  • Experimenting with different outreach tactics: email, Linkedin, automated outreach, etc. to find the best fit for our market and ideal customer profile
  • Working closely with our Account Executives to strengthen our sales pipeline
  • Continuing the development and improvement of our sales processes - We want to write our sales playbook with you!

Your profile

  • You are comfortable working in a fast-paced and constantly changing environment: As proof of this we expect you to bring 2+ years of experience at a scale-up (anything from 30 to 200) or in management consulting, or to convince us why this doesn t matter
  • You are a clear and effective communicator: You are comfortable using Slack and Asana to plan, manage, and execute projects keeping the right stakeholders informed and addressing prioritization needs and tensions as they come up. You enjoy having meaningful conversations with people and you act as a sparring partner for potential customers, rather than a straightforward seller
  • You demonstrate ownership: You have the ambition and drive to close deals. You bring your own topics to every agenda and follow through on commitments. You don't just identify problems but also propose solutions.
  • You are fluent in German and English: Due to the nature of the role, this is an absolute must
  • You are comfortable with rejection: That's the daily reality of BDR life - you will not be happy in this role if you don't already have this mentality
  • Bonus: Any prior knowledge or interest in process automation is a plus
