JOB TITLE: Windows Engineer Security Vulnerability Remediation





JOB DESCR:



*** We need a senior (10+ years) Windows Engineer with experience in Security vulnerability remediation.



Local/Florida Candidates Preferred but not required.



The candidate will be a stand-alone resource to fix security issues discovered by the security team.



Excellent communication skills are a must. IIS is a must.



This is a phone and Skype to hire.



Candidates in Florida with a LinkedIn profile preferred but not required.



Windows Engineer/Systems Administrator (focus on Security vulnerability remediation)



Responsibility – responsible for the protection and understanding of risk in relation to remediating security vulnerabilities to the server assets (OS, IIS components, 3rd party applications etc..) This will allow meeting global security standards and compliance with regulations.



Additional responsibilities – contribute to project plans, coordination, builds, execute against the implementation plan.

Lead technical designs and executions.

Advise on emerging technology and make recommendations on remediation of security vulnerabilities

Lead and assessment and communication of vulnerabilities and their associated risk e.g. vulnerability alerts and critical security patches



Must haves – Proven experience of combined security and/or IT work experience in a position focused primarily on information security

Experience with conducting detailed network, operation system, database and/or vulnerability assessments.

Senior experience with Windows Server, IIS, Citrix, Secure File transfer (FTP), VMWare and Virtual Desktop, ESXi (virtual), Hyper-V
