MODERN CITY HOMES LTD. Located at 7754 147 street, Surrey, BC, V3S 5M4 is currently looking for 3 WELDERS to join their team as soon as possible.

Full-Time Permanent position at $28/Hour for 40 hours per week with 4% vacation pay as BCs Employment Standards. Various work locations as per companys contracts. English is a required language. 1 to 2 years of experience and completion of high school is required.

Work conditions and physical capabilities: Tight deadlines, Large workload, physically demanding, bending, crouching, kneeling standing for extended periods.

Work site environment: At heights, Noisy, Dusty, Hot, Cold.

Job Duties:
Read and interpret blueprints or welding process specifications.
Determine the appropriate welding equipment or method based on requirement.
Set up components for welding according to specifications.
Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment.
Visually Inspect welds and parts of defects.
Check all safety controls for proper operations.
Operate semi-automatic flame cutting equipment, metal shaping machines and other metal straightening and bending machines.
Operate previously set-up welding machines to fabricate or repair metal parts and products.
Follow safety procedures and ensure good welding practices.
