Job Description:

Perform mechanical design calculations for heat exchangers. Create dimensional sketches of exchangers. Perform final design of tube layout. Maintain and care for computer system. Issue drawings and other output data internally and to customer. Verify that all drawings and calculations meet the requirements of ASME code, TEMA standard, and any other applicable codes or standards. Validate that drawings and calculations meet all user-defined needs and specifications. Communicate with customers. Assist in training new design and drafting personnel. Assist Manager of Mechanical Engineering with basic managerial duties. Assist in resolving fabrication problems relating to detail drawing. Assist in creating, implementing, and maintaining the quality management system within the company. Maintain Computer Verification Log. Assist Quality inspection Department and Purchasing in resolving material related problems.

Education: Skills and training acquired through schools, seminars, military, or other formal programs including the ability to read, write, reason, question, and explain-- minimal level of education required for a reasonable chance of success in this position is a college degree.
