Using hand tools and other specialized automotive repair equipment, adjust, repair, or replace parts and components of automotive systems such as the fuel system, brakes, steering and suspension, engine and drive train, emission control and exhaust, cooling and climate control, and electrical and electronic systems. Repairs are tested and adjusted to meet the manufacturer's performance criteria. Oil changes, lubrications, and tune-ups are among the maintenance services that should be performed on a regular basis.
