Our client is seeking a Meat Sales Representative that can manage and grow sales within their organization by focusing on specific markets at all levels to increase the companys revenue and profitability. With this position, you will have the opportunity to work for a well-established USDA meat packing and processing organization that provides protein food products to a variety of industries.
Responsibilities and Requirements:
- Ability to provide business growth in terms of volume and profitability by protecting and growing existing business.
- Have a pre-existing book of business to increase performance and profitability
- Assist with inventory management and rotation
- Knowledge of meat products (beef, pork, and poultry)
- Forecasting and meeting sales volumes
- Strong phone and interpersonal skills
- Minimum of 5 years protein sales experience
- Demonstrated sales planning, forecasting, and sales execution experience
- Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, organizational, decision-making, and negotiation skills
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with customers
- Strong aptitude to effectively interpret and use multiple information sources to develop customer-specific tactical plans and options
