Job Description
The role requires a Bachelor s Degree in accounting or finance at a minimum. MBA and/or CPA preferred. Responsibilities and candidate attributes include:
- Taking the day-to-day lead on valuation, M&A due diligence and small litigation support projects
- Ability to analyze financial statements and interpret results
- Working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP)
- Preparation of historical trend analysis
- Preparation of financial projections
- Prepare initial draft of Valuation and Quality of Earnings reports
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and communication (both written and verbal) skills along with the ability to work both independently and as part of an engagement team. Proficiency with Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required. Some travel (10% 15%) is required.
