Job Description

A reputable engineering consulting firm is currently seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer for their Cleveland, Ohio team! This position can also be worked from the Akron, Cincinnati or Columbus office.




Responsibilities:
  • Provide engineering design/planning or intersection/roadway traffic modeling, roundabout design and traffic signal design
  • Assist with preparation of maintenance of traffic plans
  • Produce/review traffic impact studies, safety studies and traffic forecasting
  • Lead design team
  • Produce project scope, schedule and budget and cost estimate guidelines
  • Review/approve cost estimates
  • Serve as Project Manager
  • Meet/exceed client expectations



Requirements:
  • Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering
  • 8+ years of experience
  • Ohio PE License
  • P.T.O.E preferred
  • Proficient in MicroStation, Geopak, OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D
  • Experience with SignCad, AutoTurn, HCS, Synchro/Simtraffic, VISSIM, TransModeler, SIDRA, Rodel software
  • GIS capabilities
  • Knowledge of MUTCD policies/procedures
