Job Description
A reputable engineering consulting firm is currently seeking a Senior Traffic Engineer for their Cleveland, Ohio team! This position can also be worked from the Akron, Cincinnati or Columbus office.
Responsibilities:
- Provide engineering design/planning or intersection/roadway traffic modeling, roundabout design and traffic signal design
- Assist with preparation of maintenance of traffic plans
- Produce/review traffic impact studies, safety studies and traffic forecasting
- Lead design team
- Produce project scope, schedule and budget and cost estimate guidelines
- Review/approve cost estimates
- Serve as Project Manager
- Meet/exceed client expectations
Requirements:
- Bachelor s Degree in Civil Engineering
- 8+ years of experience
- Ohio PE License
- P.T.O.E preferred
- Proficient in MicroStation, Geopak, OpenRoads and/or AutoCAD/Civil 3D
- Experience with SignCad, AutoTurn, HCS, Synchro/Simtraffic, VISSIM, TransModeler, SIDRA, Rodel software
- GIS capabilities
- Knowledge of MUTCD policies/procedures
