Electrify Video Partners is a dynamic new digital media company that invests in and scales creators with an established YouTube presence. Our mission is to turn creators into global media businesses by building teams, scaling the production and distribution of their content and introducing new revenue streams across platforms. We acquire between 50% and 100% of creator businesses with an established YouTube presence. We have raised multiple funding rounds and have existing revenue streams.

Tasks

The Sales Development Representative will work closely with the co-founders to grow our pipeline of new channel investment opportunities. You will identify YouTube channels that are an attractive target and then reach out and connect with the owners to set up introductory calls, playing a critical first step in building our channel portfolio.

Key responsibilities

  • Leverage data and internal tools to identify new channel investment opportunities that fit with the Electrify vision.
  • Grow and build our pipeline of creators through cold prospecting via email, social media and other channels.
  • Develop creative ways to break through digital clutter and market our business to engage with creators.
  • Achieve monthly quotas of outreach to qualified opportunities.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and activity trackers to ensure we are building and nurturing opportunities and showing an accurate view of the pipeline
  • Actively keep a pulse on emerging creators and trends through various social media channels and tools.
  • Collect and communicate key channel information to help inform outreach.
  • Contributing to Electrify's social media presence and thought leadership in the creator economy.

Requirements

Skills and experience

  • 3+ years of professional experience in sales, account management or sales related fields.
  • Demonstrable experience succeeding in fast-paced, KPI driven sales environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • A hunger and tenacity to connect with prospects.
  • Familiarity with sales strategies, processes and best practises across the sales lifecycle.
  • Understanding of the social and digital landscape, global competition, and audience trends.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects at once with strong organisational skills.
  • Ability to manage timelines, status reports etc.

Desirable

  • Experience working directly with digital native talent in a talent relations / management / agency capacity.
  • Detailed understanding of how to create successful content on YouTube and key metrics for success on YouTube and other social video platforms.
  • Established creator relationships.
  • Experience working as part of a high growth start-up.
  • Experience working directly with creators.
  • Experience working across different geographies and cultures.
