Job Description

An opportunity to join an exciting, well-funded and fast-growing creator economy business.

Electrify Video Partners is a dynamic new digital media company that invests in and scales creators with an established YouTube presence. Our mission is to turn creators into global media businesses by building teams, scaling the production and distribution of their content and introducing new revenue streams across platforms. We acquire between 50% and 100% of creator businesses with an established YouTube presence. We have raised multiple funding rounds and have existing revenue streams.

We are building a decentralized global team to power our business and are looking for A-players that share our vision and values and want to play a part in driving the business forward on its exciting journey. Come and build the future of media with Electrify!

Tasks

The Head of Creator Outreach will work closely with the co-founders and support the company's new channel partnerships and acquisitions, be the initial point of contact with new creator partners, present opportunities to our business for investment and play an active role in tactical brainstorms and new business pitches.

You will inspire creators and channel owners to be part of the Electrify business and will play a critical role in building our channel portfolio.

Key responsibilities

  • Leverage data and internal tools to identify new channel partnership and acquisition opportunities that fit with the Electrify vision.
  • Build and cultivate relationships with a growing and diverse set of world class content creators.
  • Present the Electrify value proposition and investment thesis to channel owners.
  • Collect, analyse and communicate key channel information and quantitative metrics to help inform investment decisions.
  • Develop creative ways to break through digital clutter and market our business to engage with creators.
  • Manage the sales pipeline and activity trackers to ensure we are building and nurturing opportunities.
  • Support the business with complex negotiations with creators and their advisors.
  • Maintain an ongoing relationship with channel owners that we partner with to ensure an efficient and successful onboarding into the business.
  • Actively keep a pulse on emerging creators and trends through various social media channels and tools.
  • Contributing to Electrify's social media presence and thought leadership in the creator economy.
  • Over time, building the 'Creator Outreach' team and supporting the development and growth of junior team members - i.e., we can envisage this as a leadership position sitting across a team of people, in due course.

Requirements

Skills and experience

  • 8+ years of experience working directly with digital native talent in a talent relations / management / agency capacity.
  • Proven reputation for being a subject matter expert in the creator economy.
  • Detailed understanding of how to create successful content on YouTube and key metrics for success on YouTube and other social video platforms.
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship building skills.
  • Familiarity with sales strategies, processes and best practises across the lifecycle for digital content.
  • Excellent understanding of the social and digital landscape, global competition, and audience trends.
  • Ability to lead and manage multiple projects at once with strong organisational skills
  • Ability to lead people and build teams..
  • Ability to manage timelines, status reports etc.
