Purely Automotive Recruitment are delighted to offer a very exciting position for a successful Account Manager to join our client based in South Manchester. Our client is a leading automotive creative marketing and digital communications company that operates across the UK and Europe with a highly engaging and vibrant team.


Requirements

We have an exciting opportunity for an ambitious account manager to join a growing, dynamic commercial team.

This role is pivotal to the ongoing success in managing client accounts across their partner network, working on campaigns, and delivering outstanding results, alongside new client acquisition across numerous sectors.

You will be one of the integral faces of the agency to the client.

Every customer is different and has unique goals, business models, pain points and targets, so a collaborative and customer-first approach is vital for this role. This approach means you can build a rapport, problem-solve, and constructively challenge so that customers achieve their commercial objectives.

In this role, you will be responsible for always delivering a first-class standard of service. You ll manage clients marketing activities through a mix of media channels and oversee the smooth running of the process, including preparing briefs for creative and digital projects, liaising with the project team, design studio, and production teams to ensure that all work is completed on time, to brief and within budget.

Some of your duties will include:

Managing a portfolio of accounts, delivering presentations, and attending client meetings.

Independent planning, coordination, and control of projects.

Conception, implementation, and management of integrated campaigns.

Being the proactive link between agency, suppliers, and customers.

Independent handling of projects: From briefing to timing and costs to implementation.

Responsibility for creating overviews and sticking to budgets.

Coordination of internal and external service providers/work processes.

What were looking for:

At least 4-5 years of professional experience in a creative, communications or marketing role.

Success in retaining and growing revenue in either a business-to-business (B2B) Account Management, Sales, or similar role.

Be highly analytical and proficient with budget control.

A consultative sales approach.

The ability to articulate a complex product offering and keep up to date with the competitor landscape.

Evidence of a proactive approach to mitigating risk and uncovering opportunity.

Excellent relationship-building skills with an ability to build rapport and influence.

Key challenges:

Maximising the communication of the Rhino Group vision to deliver competitive advantage.

Translating the overall strategy into actionable steps for sales engagement within the customer environment.

Quickly establishing the proposition and service delivery framework prepared for growth.


Benefits

Permanent contract.

30,000 - 40,000 per annum dependant on experience.

Monday Friday 9:00am 5:00pm, predominantly office based (Hyde, Greater Manchester) with flexible working.

21 days holidays per year, plus additional bank holidays, and time off over Christmas & New Year as the offices close.

4% employer pension contributions. 8% in total.

Employee health benefits with WPA following a successful 6-month probation period.
