Business Systems Analyst - America

Our client is looking for a junior business systems analyst help with documentation, financial reporting, agile ceremonies, make updates to DLC, and monthly reporting.

Job Description: Essential duties and Responsibilities

Elicit, analyze, refine, validate, and write clear and concise requirements by working closely with the Product Owner, business stakeholders, and teams; create supporting artifacts as needed to support the requirements

Write user guides, various tracking documents, data specifications, release notes, and other deliverables as needed

Create and Execute queries for research, assist in decision making, and ad hoc reporting

Create and update templates, samples for input files, output files and reports

Create and update wireframes

Acquire industry, application, and data content knowledge in the functional areas served by the department

Requirements:

Experience working with Agile, hybrid, and traditional project teams supporting IT projects

Experience documenting detailed requirements, process flows, and wireframes

Knowledge of relational database structures and concepts

Able to access and transform data for use in reports, pulling data from various systems

Knowledge of software development processes using a formal software development life cycle (SDLC) methodology

Knowledge of AWS Cloud concepts and tools, APIs

Azure DevOps (Boards)

MSOffice including MS Access and MS Visio

Tableau (preferred)

Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma process improvement methodology (preferred)

Previous experience as a software engineer and/or QA engineer (preferred)

Mortgage Banking Industry experience (preferred)

• 1-2 years of BSA experience in Agile or hybrid environment

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• 1 day onsite downtown a week or every couple of weeks.
• More of a business focused role with financial reporting, documentation, helping with PMO procedures & processes.

Formal Education and Certification

• College diploma or university degree in the field of computer science, information systems, or related field, and 2-3 years work experience
• ECBA, CCBA, or IIBA-AAC Certification (preferred)
• Analysis and documentation of business and systems' processes
• Definition and documentation of detailed functional requirements and other analysis deliverables in an Agile, hybrid, or traditional project team
