Great Medical Center located in San Jose, CA is looking for an enthusiastic candidate for the Facility Maintenance and Grounds Technician position.
Salary Starting at $66,000.00 per year
Facility Maintenance Technician Schedule:
- Monday Friday 8:30am-5:30pm
- Some evenings, weekends and on-call hours may be required, based on organizational need.
The Facility Maintenance and Grounds Technician Responsibilities:
- responsible for the maintenance, care and efficient operation of all equipment, facilities, and grounds of the organization.
- The Facilities and Grounds Manager will coordinate all facilities projects and prioritize the maintenance of equipment and facilities to ensure they re in top working order.
- They will take special consideration to ensure all activities are performed in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
- This role will assist in the oversight of capital projects, external contractors and vendors performing facilities improvements and maintenance.
Facility Maintenance and Grounds Manager Technician and Experience:
- Trade or Associate Degree, required.
- Bachelor s degree, preferred.
- Minimum of five (5) years of related experience and/or training, preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years supervisory and project management experience, required.
- OSHA certified, preferred.
Facility Maintenance and Grounds Technician Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Thorough knowledge of maintenance and custodial practices and procedures.
- Must be able to communicate information proactively and effectively
- Excellent interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Ability to plan, schedule, coordinate, and evaluate design, construction, maintenance, and custodial services.

Doctorates degree in PTA from an accredited program / university Must be a licensed Physical Therapist in the State of New Mexico or eligible to obtain prior to hire Highly preferable to have previous PT experience in any setting but new graduates are welcomed to apply!
