Job Description

Genesis Consulting is seeking a collaborative, motivated, ambitious, hardworking, and resourceful Organizational Change Management (OCM) Lead with demonstrated experience (business, change management, project management) and strong leadership skills to support/lead our Federal Change Management and Transition Communication Services effort. This role will include planning through execution/adoption, effectively driving change management and transformation efforts to support a wide variety of enterprise and workstream change initiatives.


Duties and Responsibilities:

The OCM Lead will provide Change Management and Communication Services. Duties include but may not be limited to:

  • Define change management and transition requirements and performance metrics for the Program Office s enterprise-wide service delivery with a focus on mitigating risks and simplifying customer engagement information needs for successful Initial Operating Capability (IOC) to Full Operating Capability (FOC) milestones.
  • Recommend strategic change management and operational tactics to position the government to significantly change the way travel and expense services are delivered.
  • Assess stakeholder information needs and prepare communication planning materials outlining key messages, methods, and schedule by stakeholder interest group.
  • Assess and recommend future state governance and working groups needed to facilitate the transition from IOC to FOC. Develop and maintain governance and customer working group documents aligned with the customer experience recommendations.
  • Identify and support the development of communication and change management materials working across approved platforms, channels, and media (e.g., Interact, OMB Max, Social Media videos, press releases, press interviews, emails, newsletters, presentations, etc.).
  • Prepare change management communications matrices for major stakeholder groups interests for each phase of the pre-solicitation phase of the procurement. The matrices, at a minimum, will document the stakeholder group, key messages/outcomes, methods, and timing.
  • Prepare communications materials for information dissemination and briefing stakeholders on these customer experience blueprint activities.
  • Provide senior level program management consultation and subject matter expertise to ensure alignment between the Program Office and related key initiatives such as Government-wide Category Management (GCM) solutions for Travel.
  • Work with the Executive and management team to conduct strategic and operational project management and risk mitigation planning for the various complex T&T projects and initiatives. Prepare related planning documents such as strategic plans and presentations to help advance the initiatives.
  • Provide meeting management support services (e.g., agenda, minutes, communication materials, etc.)
  • Conduct special projects and strategic analysis on a broad range of confidential, sensitive projects or assignments, involving controversial issues and complex subject matter to resolve critical issues and problems.
  • Help define the Change Management plans, engage with various stakeholders, help develop OCM and transition toolkits, and support gap analysis and organizational impacts.
  • Other duties as assigned


Requirements

Minimum Qualifications/Experience:

  • 7+ years experience leading transformational programs for organizations of 2000+ people
  • 7+ years experience delivering large-scale organizational change management, or business transformation consulting to enterprise customers.
  • Experience supporting Change Management for a Travel & Expense system or comparable IT (Information Technology) solution, ideally transitioning from a decentralized service delivery model to centralized service delivery model with a cloud-based solution.
  • Clear understanding of change management (including a solid understanding of leading and lagging measures of success Key Performance Indicators, John Kotter s methodology for change management etc.).
  • Experience working in a cross-functional team to develop a change management strategy.
  • Experience in professional environment developing polished presentations, talking points, and content.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal and influencing skills; strong executive presence, including the ability to partner with and effectively influence multiple stakeholders; ability to work with both business and technology stakeholders.
  • Creative problem-solving skills, strategic thinker, and high degree of intellectual curiosity.
  • Strong understanding of business process modelling / mapping and continuous improvement.
  • Experience in organizational design as well as operating & change delivery models is required.
  • High proficiency in MS Office tools: Project, Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word, MS Teams, SharePoint.
  • Be comfortable working closely with senior leadership throughout the organization.
  • Demonstrated experience working with and influencing as part of a team.
