Job Description
Carrying out economic and business research and analysis in identified markets.
Developing an information network by attending conferences and exhibitions.
Preparing pre- and feasibility studies in addition to Business Plans for new investments.
Managing the external consultants to conduct specialized studies.
Preparing and implementing initial start-up of operations.
Monitoring and evaluation of new business ventures.
Working with top management to develop strategic plans.
Developing and maintaining contacts with external sources to ensure that the best possible information is gained and to provide effective advice to managers and staff.
Analyzing and monitoring technical and financial data and present in an internally approved format.
Supporting the overall management of the company including the establishment and review of investment goals and developing risk analysis to reduce risk and enhance long-term performance.
Providing information, e.g. summaries of research, investment ideas.
Promoting that all compliance regulations are met.
Keeping up to date with market developments, new investment products and all other areas that can affect the markets, e.g. movements in the economies of relevant countries;
Conducting due diligence on companies and industries by researching, reading financial statements and market data;
Maintaining a comprehensive database of relevant Business information. Ensure data security and back-ups.
Other duties as assigned the direct manager.
Requirements
- a bachelors degree in Management, BA, Commerce or BSc Agriculture, or a related field.
- has experience in the Agriculture industry.
- A minimum of fifteen (15) years of Agribusiness sales/management experience.
- Fluent in English & Arabic both written & verbal.
- Proficient user of MS Office.
