Medical Receptionist

A Medical Practice located in bryanston, sandton is looking for a well organised and friendly Medical Receptionist to join the growing healthcare team.
The ideal candidate main objectives is to work at the front desk medical office and assist patients and other visitors.
Responsibilities

• Greet patients and other visitors as they arrive
• Answer patient questions and provide assistance when necessary
• Distribute forms and paperwork to patients and check them over to ensure that required fields are completed accurately
• Collect pays
• Field phone calls and respond to emails
• Manage inventory of necessary office supplies and coordinate reordering

Requirements

• Completion of a certificate program in the medical field preferred
• 1plus years of experience working as an administrative assistant or similar roles
• Familiar with medical terminology
• Excellent organisational and time management abilities
• Grade 12 preferred.
