Sourcing and Product Development Manager Non-Food/Accessoires (m/f/d)

Your tasks

Our sourcing team is looking for reinforcement. If you know your way around sourcing and you have plenty of ideas on how to expand our product portfolio in the non-food sector, then you are the right person to be our next Sourcing and Product Development Manager for Non-Food / Accessoires! The following exciting tasks are waiting for you:

• Coming up with ideas on how to expand our product portfolio with high quality cooking and lifestyle products
• Conducting detailed research on new and upcoming trends in accessory products to constantly expand our assortment
• Being in charge of product development, supplier sourcing, sampling and test overview, as well as purchasing of orders and logistic supply chain management.

Your profile

• Preferably, you have a completed degree in international economics, trading or a related field
• You live in Berlin or the surrounding area, or you are willing to relocate
• You have excellent communication skills (written and spoken) in German and English. Mandarin skills would be an advantage.
• You have experience in the field of sourcing ideally with kitchen electronics, accessories, homeware, giftware or fashion
• You are also experienced in strategic procurement and cost analysis
• Ideally, you have a resourceful supplier network
• You are proficient with Excel and ideally with Dynamics as well
• You are open to travel internationally for trade shows, visiting suppliers etc.
• You have strong project management and negotiation skills and you excel in analytical thinking.
• Last but not least: you are a friendly and open minded team player!
