Job Description

A rapidly growing boutique management consultancy is seeking a Consultant.

The firm offers 3 main servicesoperational excellence, operating model (re-)design and strategy execution.

The Consultant will work with clients to manage delivery of one or more complex work streams or a small project in a range of consulting engagements.

Main Duties
  • Manage delivery of one or more complex work streams or a small project in a range of consulting engagements, the majority of which will have an operational excellence component
  • Work with and manage junior consultants and third party/associate consultants
  • Work with and develop client joint team members, helping them to develop core consulting skills
  • Coach our clients to help them develop new skills, grow and progress
  • Develop sales and marketing collateral including web content, case studies, service offering descriptions
  • Support our sales and business development activities


Requirements

  • Management consulting experience advising clients on large-scale change and/or transformation programmes within large, complex organisations
  • Excellent spoken and written communication skills: you will need to be able to explain complex concepts in simple terms
  • Demonstrable ability to proactively build relationships and manage client stakeholders, including providing robust advice, constructive challenge, influencing decisions, delivering difficult messages and managing performance issues
  • The ability to use or to develop skills in analytical tools such as PowerBI, Tableau and OrgView
  • The ability to coach and train other consultants and clients
  • Ideally experience of working in the utilities or Infrastructure sectors, however, this is not a must have.
