(Junior) Underwriter (f/m/x)

Your mission

• Ensure all underwriting decisions are made in accordance with the company policy
• Evaluate finance proposals within the business mandated levels
• Provide relevant insights regarding decisions for other departments (e.g. sales team)
• Ensure all decisions are completed within an agreed SLA
• Provide excellent service to both internal and external customers
• Support in reviewing, updating and creating policies

Your profile

• University degree in the field of economics, finance or similar

• Proven work experience in a back office role in the field of financial/lending/insurance products

• Practical knowledge of the KYC

• A passion to communicate with different stakeholders and cooperate cross-functionally

• Ability to understand and learn how scoring model behave

• Basic knowledge of credit bureau in Poland

• Experience with at least one or several of the following tools: MS Office, JIRA, Looker and Asset

• Fluent written and verbal communication in Polish and English

• Ability to think analytically and confident decision-making skills

• Well organized and diligent working style and strong proactivity

• Considered as a plus:

  • Ability to translate business aspects into technical requirements
  • Knowledge and/or interest in lending products, as well as a solid understanding of lending procedures
  • Work experience in the field of financial analysis, finance, risk, fraud, AML
