Designer Co-founder

Initially, this is a part-time position. You don t need to quit your current job. You can work on the project in the evenings/ weekends according to your availability. No salary initially but you will be getting an equity share. Post-fundraising, you will be given a full-time position and you will be getting a salary alongside equity.

You love designing awesome tools that people love using. You have a growth mindset; you are pumped by the idea of growing professionally in parallel with an early-stage startup and you are willing to hustle and learn every day you go to work. You are obsessed with user experience and want to build world-class products based on simplicity.

Tasks

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product manager and engineers
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Design graphic user interface elements
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate how sites function and look like
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
• Identify and troubleshoot UX problems (e.g. responsiveness)
• Conduct layout adjustments based on user feedback
• Adhere to style standards on fonts, colors and images

Requirements

• At least 2 years in UI/Design role
• Portfolio of design projects
• Growth mindset & hustler mentality; candidate has strong willingness to learn fast in new role
• Strong sense of ownership and determination to get things done
• Proven work experience as a UI/UX Designer or similar role
• Experience using wireframe tools (e.g. Wireframe.cc and InVision)
• Up-to-date knowledge of design software like Figma, Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Strong written and verbal communications skills in English
• BSc in Design or a related discipline
