Job Description

TPF Recruitment are recruiting a really exciting role for a well established firm who are opening a new office in Tunbridge Wells. This highly successful firm is expanding and opening up a brand new office and are in search of an ambitious candidate to take on the Accounts & Tax Manager position. Our client is a really ambitious business who have a modern approach and who have fantastic client exposure and lots of interesting advisory work. They have a national presence in the accounting world, who are focused on hnwi s and uhnwi s and their associated assets, businesses and personal affairs.

As an Accounts & Tax Manager, you will be responsible for:

  • Understand performance expectations and manage teams to meet these expectations
  • Maintain regular client contact on a pro-active basis, listen to needs and suggest initiatives/improvements
  • Acquire and apply technical expertise in accounting, tax and interpret laws, regulations and standards to a mixed portfolio of clients
  • Dealing with both clients and team members and therefore should demonstrate clear communication skills
  • Prepare and oversee production of accounts for a mixed portfolio of clients including limited companies, sole traders and partnerships
  • Prepare final statutory and non-statutory accounts
  • Prepare tax computations and complete tax returns and submissions to HMRC
  • Manage and review accounts and tax returns of junior staff


Requirements

  • Preferably qualified ACA/ACCA or by experience.
  • 5-10+ years experience within an accountancy practice experience.

Previous payroll administration experience within an accountancy practice or bureau. CIPP qualified, studying or qualified by experience.
