Senior Microsoft D365 AX/F&O Developer

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (Essential Functions)

Key Responsibilities:

• Work alongside Microsoft D365 Architect to create technical business solutions for leadership and customers, considering the current and future architecture and planned enhancements,
• Act as a subject matter expert on Microsoft D365 F&O to translate desired functionalities into concrete solutions, optimizing use of Microsoft functionality and supporting tools (e.g., PowerApps, Dataverse, etc.) as much as possible,
• Work with business process owners on requested Microsoft D365 F&O configurations and customizations, and define the technical requirements to design, test, implement, and maintain the solution,
• Lead solution developments by creating code, running tests (unit, functional, regression), troubleshooting, and working hands-on with the Information Technology (IT) Team,
• Track features and capabilities, including source code, as work items in Azure DevOps and report to the MIS Director on the status of ongoing developments,
• Assist and mentor other engineers to build up their Microsoft D365 F&O expertise,
• Oversee and participate in creating and maintaining system documentation,

• Perform other duties and responsibilities as required

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty and responsibility satisfactorily. The qualifications listed below are representative of the required knowledge, skills, and/or abilities needed to perform the principal duties.

Must have:

• Bachelor's degree in software engineering or a related scientific or technical discipline, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in a Microsoft Dynamics 365 development role (SCM and F&O) and can demonstrate strong capabilities in configuring, customizing, and developing complex projects with X++.
• Knowledge in all aspects of Microsoft D365 AX/Finance and Operations implementation phases, Lifecycle Services management end-to-end, setup environment, backups, apply updates and restore services.
• Proven experience using Data Management tools and participated in data migration projects.
• In-depth knowledge of customization Microsoft Dynamics entity model, security model, and API services.
• Experience to setup all modules of Dynamics 365F&O such as legal entities, general ledger, charts of accounts, accounts payable, accounts receivable, inventory management, procurement and logistic, etc.

Nice to have:

• C# development including plug-ins, custom entities, and integration between Dynamics 365 F&O and third-party components such as web portals.
• Azure service including LogicApps, Azure Functions, Azure Database.
• Experience with Microsoft Power Platform such as Power Automate.
• Experience with Agile methodology, Azure DevOps, Visual Code and Pipelines deployments.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently and collaboratively with global teams.
• Willingness to travel and work abroad a minimum of 4-8 weeks per year.
