Job Description:
Experienced Architect of Enterprise monitoring for SRE, DevOps, Monitoring, Bachelor's degree required and 10 + years of relevant engineering (including at least 5 year of experience as platform/SRE architect) with advance knowledge in the following key areas: containers, deployment architecture, Enterprise Monitoring, benchmarking, design, and network engineering
Minimum 4-6 years of combined experience serving in either a Devops, SRE, Systems, and/or software development role
Experience in defining the SRE Roadmap for organizations
Extensive experience with public cloud technologies and solution. (Azure Preferred)
Experience with IAC tools (Terraform, Gitlab)
Experience with configuration management tools like Ansible, Chef, and Packer
Experience with container technology and orchestration (Kubernetes, Docker)
Linux operating system, testing tools and database management with MySQL
Experience with Monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Azure Monitor, Graphana, Splunk, AppDynamics, New Relic
Experience with Log management and ELK Stack. (Elastic Search, Logstash, Kibana) Deep Understanding of the microservice architectures, application servers, network and databases
Excellent understanding of Scalability processes and techniques
Experience with Jenkins or other build tools
Hands on experience in administering high availability and high-performance environments, as well as managing large-scale deployments of traffic-heavy applications
Someone who can handle multiple complex systems and not shy away from the challenge of improving them
The willingness to try new technologies and make them harmonize with existing systems to achieve better operations overall
Excellent communication and collaboration skills
Roles and Responsibilities
An SRE visionary, A self-starter, able to architect, build, drive and advocate for AvidXchange SRE solution
Experience and capability to take a whiteboard discussion to a finished process or solution through collaboration
Someone who has the experience of working with multiple stakeholders on different levels.

Ensuring availability, scalability and resilience of our SaaS platform and services
Provide continuous feedback from the services and applications back to development and product team.
Decreasing overall lead time from idea to customer service
Evangelize SRE and DevOps through workshops and training sessions
Assist in documenting and implementing processes, workflows, user manuals and present to stakeholders as necessary
Responsible for Production Readiness Reviews of application design, builds/tests, releases, and operations through engagement, analysis, continuous improvement, refactoring, training, and onboarding new applications.
Gather ideas to automate toilsome production tasks that can improve reliability and efficiency in operations Lead development and tracking of SLI/SLO SRE Error Budgets Design and execute Scalability strategies that ensure the scalability and the elasticity of the infrastructure
Work with applications development teams on designing, implementing, and improving SRE practices
Improve service reliability through blameless post-incident reviews and using code to prevent or respond to problem recurrence
