Desired Competencies (Technical/Behavioral Competency)

Must-Have

• Good hands-on knowledge and exposure to Automation and configuration tools, Ansible, Puppet, and Terraform
• In depth understanding of difference between Physical hardware systems, Virtualization techniques, Container concepts & associated management platforms like VMWare VCenter, OpenShift.
• Should have hands on experience of working on Linux systems. Understanding of Linux fundamentals with capability to utilize Linux packaging tools (RPM, YUM, APT etc.), shell scripting etc.
• Work experience in Public Cloud Infrastructure Services like GCP
• Automate business processes with Ansible playbooks.
• Provide Ansible consultation and support to end customers.
• Should be well versed with Ansible's core concepts and Ansible Automation Platform.
• Should be able to work on POCs/Blueprints and write excellent design documentation of the solution.
• Should be able to work with CI/CD DevOps tools like Jenkins, and Git.
• SME for Ansible GCP for automation/orchestration solution

• Coding puppet manifests and modules
• Testing puppet code
• Deploy software via puppet code
• Troubleshooting problems with code deployment
• Puppet Administration
• Install puppet software
• Upgrade Puppet infrastructure across multiple sites and Puppet Masters
• Test upgrades
• Troubleshoot issues as they arise

• Terraform, Terraform with Google Cloud Platform, CLI, Terraform Enterprise, SAML, OAuth, Packer, GCP
• Roles and Responsibilities: Provisioning infrastructures by writing terraform scripts.
• Templating Kubernetes clusters using Helm Charts
• Implements automation processes, Deployment processes, and platform support using TerraForm,
• Infrastructure as Code, GitLab CI/CD, and DevOps standard methodologies

• Taking ownership of technical issues reported and seeing problems through to resolution.
• Researching diagnosing, troubleshooting, and identifying solutions to resolve customer issues.
• Working with our Development group to resolve more advanced issues, when necessary.

• HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate
• Red Hat Certified Specialist in Ansible Automation
• Red Hat Certified System Engineer (RHSE)
• Certified Kubernetes Administrator ( CKA )
• ITIL V4 foundation certification
