Tasks
Role and Responsibilities
- As our Business Development Manager, you are responsible for the market development in the automotive distribution, the repair industry, rental companies and automotive experts. Our clients are organised in networks and groups, but are also independent dealers.
- You install the product on a rental basis at the customers' premises, and follow-up.
- You develop and maintain relations with a targeted national customer base through your personal relations and networking, using the company s media, but also through prospecting on sales trips.
- Your place of residence in Germany is irrelevant as long as it is consistent with travel and other job s constraints. Travelling and networking will represent a significant proportion of your time.
Main responsibilities
- Managing the German sales pipeline
- Proposing and executing strategies for winning new customers
- Working with the company s head office to maximise the sales opportunities
Requirements
Education
- Undergraduate degree in business or similar discipline preferred or equivalent level of skill, experience and knowledge
- Track record is more important than formal education
Essential Skills
- An autonomous self-motivated natural salesperson
- Proven record of breaking into and scaling new accounts.
- Strong network skills
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Fluency in German and English
Desirable Skills
- Strong understanding of the Automotive market
- Existing contacts in the Automotive market
- An understanding of vehicle remarketing
Your Profile
- Closely cooperating with the company's head office in France, we are looking for a results-focused individual
- Preferred experience in Automotive Sector, as an experienced manager, a KAM, a sales representative or a sales consultant.
- Demonstrable Sales experience at a B2B level
Personal Abilities
- Customer and business oriented
- Rigorous in following through sales to conclusion
- Prepared to invest whatever effort is required to get the job done (including travel)
- Organised, rigorous and autonomous
